This is an open ended program with set goals. Once the goals are reached in each area, the program
is complete.

Blues is the foundation of American music. A high level of mastery will serve you extremely well in many
genres, even modern rock. To have a mastery of the blues will enrich your playing and improvisation in
everything you play. This program is lengthy and involved. It should only be started by serious students
committed to learning and practice. A high level of musicianship must be attained to play the blues well.
To this end, this program focuses on overall musicianship along with blues instruction.

Program goals: To learn to play various blues styles and varying styles of blues improvisation at a high
level of musicianship.
