In Studio Lessons
In studio guitar lessons are given in my home office / studio, conveniently located in Denton, Texas.
I offer two types of lesson In Studio; One-on-One Private Instruction and Ensemble Lessons. One-on-One Private
Instruction is preparatory to ensemble lessons. Students who have not mastered the skill necessary for ensemble
lessons study privately. Students who have mastered the skills required to participate in ensemble lessons, may
still participate in One-on-One Lessons as necessary or desired. The benefits of ensemble lessons are tremendous and
each student should strive to achieve this level of proficiency.

- Video of lesson segments for immediate visual and audio analysis of you playing
- Work on the specific elements needed to graduate to ensemble lessons.
Requirements to participate in ensemble lessons:
Ensemble lessons are duets, trios and larger groups. I should point out here that this type of instruction is not a guitar class. A guitar class is where everyone
learns and works on the exact same material for the entire length of a given course, regardless of whether that student is or is not ready to move on to each new
lesson. Ensemble lessons are where students learn to play with other musicians. This could be performing a guitar duet, guitar trio, being in a larger group
or playing guitar in a multi-instrument group. This type of playing and interaction is priceless for growth as a musician. If you already have a group, the entire
group can come in, as a group, for coaching.
